An intense yellow colour with golden highlights. Outstanding for its expressive aromas of local herbs and toasted fruits. Intense and silky on the tongue with a pleasant sweetness and full bodied aftertaste.
Spanish gin who predates the contemporary gin revolution by no small amount. Giró Gin has been around since 1930, and it has a much more illustrious history when compared to other gins around the world.
Juniper at first, a rich earthy middle with coriander, angelica, and then suddenly and boldly a really quite surprising finish.
Gin Giró: 37,5% Vol.
Color: The color is a deep red brown with some nuances. It looks like a very dull, elegant old rose, and degraded in some lighter shades.
Aroma: The aroma is indescribable, because it involves the perceiver in a cloud full of fruit touches. The background is a little sweet, so everything combined.
Taste: The taste is soft and strong at the same time, depends on whether you are starting to drink or not; however, the large end can perceive those intermingled. Perfect balance of acidity.
PRODUCER: Carlos Imperial I.
PRODUCTION DETAILS: The secret lies in choosing not only the most natural ingredients for the preparation process. However, the secret is the envejecimeinto, lasting years, so that the experience can reach full power when drinking it.
Tasting: The wines of Pérez Barquero are not technically Sherry due to not being made in D.O. Jerez, they are ‘Sherry-style’ wines, and being made from the grape Pedro Ximénez offer a different and very interesting take on the style to the wines of Jerez. Un-fortified due to natural alcohol being high enough to not require it, dry and light, slightly bitter and pleasantly crisp, with its delightful hints of wood and dried fruit and grilled nuts.

1605 VAEZ LAND GIN, GALICIA, SPAIN
by MIGUEL GONZALEZ
Distilled in Galicia
Influenced by Australia
by Miguel Gonzalez
Luis Váez de Torres, Spanish Explorer and 1st recorded European navigation in 1605/6 of the strait that separates the Australian mainland from the island of New Guinea, and which now bears his name (Torres Strait). His origins were from Galicia in Spain.
Some other interesting things you might not be aware of. In May 1606, VAEZ and 3 other Spanish ships reached a group of islands that would later be known as the New Hebrides and Vanuatu. They named the group La Austrialia del Espiritu Santo: "Austrialia of the Holy Spirit". A morphological derivation of Austrialia, a reference to the Austrian origins of the House of Habsburg – to which the Spanish royal family belonged. The largest island in Vanuatu is still known officially by the abbreviated form, Espiritu Santo. Along with the ancient Latin name Terra Australis. Austrialia has often been regarded as one of the bases of the name of Australia.
As you can see there is a lot of history between the two countries, and this is where VAEZ Gin bears its name and influence. More influence comes from the Botanicals that include Eucalyptus and Kiwi fruit, which there is an abundance found in Galicia but their origins are from the lands downunder.
Tasting: Rich and dense premium, mature Port. Oodles of primary fruit still in evidence through ripe red berries, condensed, confected raspberry and dark cherry with notes of dark cacao, fresh leather and hints of cigar.
Tasting: A sweet blend of oloroso and Pedro Ximénez, produces a delicious and complex cream Sherry. On the nose we see walnuts and figs, with an unctuous palate of hazelnuts, cashews, muscatel grapes, raisins and burnt demerara sugar.
Tasting: A blend of dry oloroso and sweet Pedro Ximénez, with characters of both making this Sherry. A nose of grilled nuts and cooked sultanas, leading to a balanced palate of walnuts, dried candied orange, and dried muscatel grapes.
Carlos I is an authentic Brandy de Jerez Solera Gran Reserva handcrafted for those who enjoy something different, exclusive and delightful. Sublime, complex and a smooth treat from a world-class Brandy.

A clear white colour with silvery ore. Aromas with characteristics of marc, with sweet tones and hints of candied fruits. Sweet on the palate, burning and structured, with a finish reminiscent of liquorice.
Tasting: Bodegas Vinificate are two brothers that after studying chemistry at university decided to make wine largely without the use of synthetic chemicals. They are part of the movement of reviving non fortified table wine from what is traditionally Sherry country. The Mahara Dorada showcases what Palomino Fino can do as and unfortified table wine. Macerated on skins in amphora for 7 days, pressed off and then left in amphora for 9 months. Aromas of chamomile, ocean breeze and citrus combine with a delicious palate of nuts, wet rocks, citrus, white flowers, and a crunchy saline sea spray
