The Recuero family has been dedicated to viticulture and winemaking since 1873. Jesus looks to make authentic wines that respect their origin, the countryside and nature.
Working with indigenous grape varieties in the Gigüela valley such as moravia, pardillo and gordal, the soils of the area, limestone based, very poor in organic matter are perfect for viticulture, along with the cold winters and hot summers that perfectly complement the vines cycle.
Fermentations are carried out in original concrete vessels from 1954, spontaneously by indigenous yeasts as Jesus wishes to “make wines like yesterday”
