Tasting: Carlos I Solera Gran Reserva is an elegant and uniquely flavoured brandy that is prepared from holandas with low alcohol content. It undergoes careful distillation and aging is done in special American oak casks that previously contained Jerez wines. It has an intense amber coloured body with golden highlights and the nose is marked by intense and sweet spice aromas combined with notes of tobacco. The palate in well-balanced and smooth, with a nice long finish that is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
