TASTING NOTES OF 2017 Valcendon Tempranillo Blanco:
View: green, clean and bright yellow.
Nose: complex aroma of great intensity fruity, complex, notes of stone fruits like pear and white peach and citrus and lime, hints of white flowers, sweet notes of honey and caramel.
Mouth: unctuous, fatty, fruity, very tasty with peach aftertaste, harmonious and well integrated flavors, fresh acidity, salinity and rich touch bitter end. Very good persistence.
GRAPES: Tempranillo Blanco.
AGEING: in stainless steel tanks on its lees for 6 months with weekly reverse pumping.
PREPARATION: destemming followed by soft pressing. Fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 16.
PAIRING: grilled fish, seafood, complex salads, rice and white meat.
TEMPERATURE: 8-10 °C
